Assam CM’s wife ,a beneficiary of Rs 10 crore?

Can u believe that wife of a democratically elected Chief Minister become a beneficiary of Prime Minister’s Kishan Sampada Yojana ?You will be surprised to know that Assam’s CM’s wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma is also a beneficiary of Central Government scheme !This lady bought a huge agricultural land and within a short period the land was transferred to industrial land and applied for Kishan Sampada scheme with a subsidy amount of 10 crore.The whole process becomes a grand success within the ‘blink of an eye’.

The most interesting thing is that the same CM who appeals people not to fight for land and zero tolerance against any corruption but surprisingly his wife is taking the advantage of PM kishan Sampada scheme. By using the magical capacity of CM , how and when does the Pride East Entertainment become the owner of 50 bigha land of Dargaji village of Kaliabar mouza and how CM’s wife become a beneficiary is a very long interesting story and here The Cross Current has prepared an investigative report on the same.

According to the report and documents available with The Cross Current,after Dr Himanta Biswa Satma becoming the CM of Assam,his wife Riniki Bhuysn Sarma had bought a land measuring 50 bigha 2 katha 19 lecha at Darigaji village of kaliabar under Borbhogiya Mouza .The land was classified as agricultural land.But within a very short period,the land was tranferred to industrial land .After its new classification as industrial land ,the CM’s wife applied for government subsidy at Ministry of food processing to establish industry at the mentioned place .Interestingly,the Pride East Entertainment Pvt Limited received the subsidy of Rs 10 crore from the same ministry to establish the same.The date was 22 nd February,2022 ,this new property of 50 bigha land enlisted in the list of properties of CM’s family.

The most interesting fact is that the land was totally an agricultural land at the time of buying. According to the documents available with Land and Revenue department of Assam Government,the particular land was mentioned as agricultural land.But according to Ceiling act,neither any individual nor any company becomes an owner of agricultural land measuring more than 49.5 bigha .So,this land is changed from agricultural land to industrial land.The CM family is too expert to mantain its list of properties that no one can ask to dare anything about their documents.The land measuring 50 Bigha 19 lecha had changed to industrial land from agricultural land on 18th April 2022.Remaining 2 kotha land is now also enlisted as agricultural land.

After changing the land to industrial land,the owner of Pride East Entertainment applied to Ministry of food processing that it wished to establish a food processing unit at Darigaji village and the whole project will be of Rs 25 crore 87 lakhs. On 10 th November.2022 the company received Rs 10 crore as subsidy from Ministry of Food Processing. Surprisingly after becoming CM ,his wife bought land,changed its land classification and received 10 crore as govt subsidy that too within 10 months .Is it not like a magic ?

According to the documents submitted at the time of filing nomination in 2021 ,the present CM Himanta Biswa Sarma submitted that his family has no agricultural land.According to the same documents which are available with Election Commission , his wife has two plots in Guwahati ,one is at Noonmati and another is at RG Baruah Road and also two normal land in North Guwahati area.CM‘s family bought land at Darigaji ,Kaliabar on 4th February 2022,changed its classification on 18th April that too in the same year and got subsidized amount on 10th November 2022.Within 10 months the whole process became a grand success by dint of CM’s magical touch i.e. by her husband Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Interesting fact is that the Pride East Entertainment was formed in the year 2006 and at that time there was no any ownership of Himanta Biswa Sarma’s family at the company.But in 2018 ,Riniki Bhuyan Sarma became the shareholder of the company and her percentage of her share is 51.34. In 15th June,2021 her son Nandil Biswa Sarma becomes as Additional Director of Pride East Entertainment Pvt Ltd .Presently CM’s wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma,her son Nandil Biswa Sarma,her mother in law Mrinalini Devi and Bhaskar Sarma are the directors of the Pride East Entertainment Pvt Ltd .The shareholders of Pride East Entertainment Private Limited are Riniki Bhuyan Sarma,Nandil Biswa Sarma,Sukanya Biswa Sarma,Mrinalini Devi,Bhaskar Sarma and Ranjit Bhattacharya.(This is mentioned by TCC according to the data which are available with Ministry Of Corporate Affairs and it is last updated on 31st March,2020)
